Scar Culture: Looking Back on the Good Old Days

Better late than never: My buddy Pheroze wrote a retrospective on his band Scar Culture, which gave me my first professional work, and to this day my proudest moment. Wasn't sure whether to post this here or in my metal blog, but this is how I broke in as a designer/illustrator.  Along with the CD cover/packaging, I also did a few shirts for the guys.  Pheroze has since retired from the world of death metal screaming, but is still actively involved with music in his own eponymous project:


I was hoping to upload the original cover, but it's been lost in my constant moving back and forth between countries.  Instead, here's the scaly reptile dude:
